Hello, I bought and installed the game yesterday, but when I tried to launch, the game just showed the usual steam 'running' message but the game didn't start. No error was displayed. So I went to the steamapps folder to run directly from the launcher but I got a directx-related missing dll error.

No, it was the d3d11.dll I think you shoudn t have downloaded the d3d11.dll file from a 3rd party source: I think that s what is causing your new problem and popping up the msvcrt.dll error message. You should erase or put the d3d11.dll in another location as backup.

Now to get the d3d11.dll from a reliable source: The step 3 in that tutorial is more likely the safer way to get the d3d11.dll file. After that you should try again the steps i put in my first post.
